CTIA-The Wireless Association® and the wireless industry are fully committed to ensuring customers have access to E-911 services. The industry has heavily invested in its network deploying capabilities required to identify the location of wireless calls to 911, and is working diligently to meet FCC deadlines.
What is RSS?
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is an XML-based format for content distribution. CTIA.org offers several RSS feeds for use in news readers and Web logs (blogs). RSS feeds are free and CTIA.org currently uses RSS 2.0.

Public Safety Wireless Communication
(Multimedia) The FCC has established rules for the upcoming 700 MHz auction to establish an interoperable national wireless broadband network which public safety will share with a private partner. Several questions remain about how the proposed model will actually work in practice, and Brian Josef, Director, Regulatory Affairs, for CTIA-The Wireless Association®, moderated a panel at CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment 2007® on the public safety-private partnership.
